This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and tracking tools are used by the evencase.it website, for what purposes, and how users can manage their choices. This document has been drawn up pursuant to Art. 122 of the Privacy Code and the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on 10 June 2021, and supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. Data Controller
EvenCase S.r.l. — Strada Vicinale Luci n. 20, 73030 Tiggiano (LE)
Tax Code and VAT No. 05483820758 — info@evencase.it
2. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device, where they are stored and then sent back to the same websites on your next visit. In addition to cookies, there are other tracking tools with a similar function, such as pixels, SDKs, fingerprinting, and identifiers stored in the browser's local storage: the following applies to all these tools.
Depending on who installs them, cookies are divided into first-party cookies, installed by the Controller, and third-party cookies, installed by other parties acting as independent data controllers.
3. Categories of cookies used
3.1 Technical and necessary cookies
These are essential for the operation of the Website: they enable navigation between pages, cart maintenance, authentication, session security, and checkout completion. They do not require user consent pursuant to Art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code and cannot be disabled via the preferences panel; they can only be blocked through the browser settings, which may cause the Website not to function correctly.

3.2 Analytical cookies
These collect aggregated information on the number of visitors, the pages viewed, and the browsing path to measure the Website's performance and improve its content. Since the data is shared with third-party providers and also used for their own purposes, these cookies are installed only with the user's prior consent.

_ga |

3.3 Marketing and profiling cookies
These are used to show relevant ads on advertising platforms, measure conversions generated by campaigns, and build audience segments for remarketing. They are installed exclusively with the user's explicit prior consent.
| Cookie | Origin | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp |
Meta Platforms Ireland (third party) | Identifies the browser for measuring campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and for remarketing | 3 months |

In addition to cookies, the Website transmits events related to browsing and purchases to Meta via server-side Conversions API. This transmission occurs only with consent to marketing cookies, and identifying data is transmitted in encrypted form (hash).
4. How to express and change your choices
On your first visit, a banner is displayed, allowing you to accept all cookies, reject them all — with the acceptance command given equal visual prominence — or select individual categories. Until the user makes a choice, only technical cookies are installed. Closing the banner using the rejection command or the "X" button does not constitute consent; simply scrolling down the page does not constitute consent under any circumstances.
The choice made is stored for six months, after which the consent request is presented again. Consent can, however, be revoked or modified at any time:
- via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page on the Website;
- by deleting cookies from your browser: deleting the
_tracking_consentcookie will cause the banner to reappear.
The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent given before the revocation.
5. Managing cookies through the browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that blocking technical cookies may impair the operation of the cart and checkout. Official instructions:
To specifically object to the activities of the main third-party providers, you can also use the following tools:
- Google Analytics — disabling add-on
- Google Ads — Google ad settings
- Meta — Ad preferences
- Your Online Choices — centralized management of advertising preferences
6. Legal bases, recipients, and rights
Technical cookies are installed on the basis of the Controller's legitimate interest in providing the service requested by the user (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) and as an exception to the consent requirement pursuant to Art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code. Analytical and marketing cookies are installed on the basis of consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
The third-party providers listed in the tables process the data collected through their cookies as independent controllers or joint controllers: you are invited to consult their respective privacy notices — Google, Meta, Shopify.
To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, as well as your right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, please refer to § 10 of the Privacy Policy. Requests and reports: info@evencase.it.
7. Updates
The list of cookies may change following the activation of new services or applications on the Website. This Cookie Policy will be updated accordingly, and the current version can always be viewed at this address.
